The Christina Collection - Pop-up Box Card Collaboration with Christina Girffiths :D

The wonderful Christina Griffiths and I decided to have a go at another collaboration (it's been a long time coming lol) and we both had the idea to do a pop up box card using her 'The Christina Collection' range of products, and as usual we started out with the same idea and same products to use but have come up with two completely different projects :D Hope you enjoyed my contribution, check out Christina's card embedded below, I also did a separate video for the matching box too, also embedded below :D :D :D

For my card I cheated and used the Lawn Fawn Pop-Up Box Die Set, but if you want to know how to make one without using a die set, then Christina's video explains it brilliantly, step-by-step :D For the panels on my box, I used some left over pieces from a video I did a while back using Christina's Quatrefoil trellis die to do some paper piecing, and for all the flowers and butterfly, I used my Copic markers (which were a Birthday prezzie) and then fussy cut them out (There's no footage of this in the video because I was being lazy and did that in front of the telly one evening hehehe) :D I really love the vibrancy of Copics, and these colours work gorgeously with Christina's stamps too :D I hope you enjoyed out little collaboration, we're hoping to do more in the future, and not leave it so long this time either!! :D Don't forget to check out Christina's blog and YouTube channel :D

Exotic Birds and Flowers with Pixie Powders :D

A set of cards using some of the stunning new Apple Blossom stamps, this set is called Exotic Birds and Flowers, and it is gorgeous, I love all the details within the stamps too :D If you're an avid Papercraft Magazine Subscriber, you might recognise these designs as they were a magazine freebie ages ago, but these stamps are different!! They have changed the sizes and flipped some images so that they will work really nicely together with the original set :D :D :D I used heat embossing and Pixie Powders for these cards, I really love the look of tropical images with mica products, so I just had to use my Pixie Powders to do some watercolouring :D Hope you liked the cards :D This was originally a video for CraftStash, so you might have already seen it over on their channel :D

Distress Oxide Monster Madness :D

I LOVE this Monster Madness stamp set!! These were the first three cards I made with this set (you've probably seen the Monster Shaker card I posted on the 2nd Nov by now :D), and I just had to try and incorporate all the monsters into one video :D :D I love the little round one, and I coloured her to look a bit like a pom pom on one of the cards :D I really like all the punny sentiments in this stamp set too, and I hope CraftStash bring out more in this style because I LOVE them :D :D :D I decided to make all the cards in a similar way, using masking fluid to protect the monsters while I made the background, then I used alcohol markers to colour them and nuvo crystal drops to decorate :D I hope you liked this trio of monster themed cards :D Again, this video was originally made for CraftStash, so you may have already seen it over on their channel :D
